1、 Difference between synthetic rubber cloth based tape and natural rubber cloth based tape

Their difference lies in their different materials. One is natural rubber. Natural rubber tape mainly comes from rubber trees. When the epidermis of this kind of rubber tree is cut, milky juice will flow out, which is called latex. Natural rubber can be obtained only after latex is condensed, washed, shaped and dried. The other is synthesis. Synthetic rubber tape is made by synthetic method. Different kinds of rubber can be synthesized by using different raw materials (monomers). Of course, in addition to the above differences, what are their differences?

There are three main differences between synthetic rubber cloth based tape and natural rubber cloth based tape:

1. Different international standards: natural rubber cloth based tape can generally meet the international environmental protection certification. Comply with EU ROHS directive standards. It can fully meet the international environmental protection requirements and standards. Synthetic rubber cloth based tape can not meet this international environmental protection requirement.

2. Smell: users can smell the glue of cloth base adhesive tape. The smell of the two kinds of adhesive tape is obviously different. The surface of natural rubber cloth base tape has the smell of natural rubber, while synthetic rubber cloth base tape has no smell of natural rubber.

3. Burn with fire: users can also put the two kinds of cloth base tapes in close range and burn them with a lighter to find the differences between them. Synthetic rubber cloth based tape will melt with boiling glue after burning, while natural rubber will not.

2、 How to distinguish the quality of adhesive tape

Tapes are divided into single-sided tapes and double-sided tapes according to their adhesiveness; The second is to look at the color and brightness. The color of low-quality tape is dark. The probability of dark tape breaking is very high. Generally, the whiter the color of good quality tape is, the better. There are less impurities in the tape, and the quality of high transparency tape is relatively better. The appearance and smell are identified. Open a roll of tape to see whether its film thickness is soft. Maybe we will think that the harder the tape film is, the better. In fact, on the contrary, the harder the tape is, the more likely it is to break. The longer the soft tape is stretched by hand.

After unpacking, first smell the smell. If there is a sour smell, the retention of this kind of tape is very poor. In the low temperature environment in winter, this kind of tape will become very brittle, cracks appear on the surface, resulting in breaking when pulled. The glue on this kind of tape will dry and lose its viscosity over time.
